When we were children we were virtual “creativity machines.” Everything we did or said was creative… the way we played, the way we colored, the way we interacted with others.
I am fascinated by the way some of us have been able to carry that creativity forward into adulthood and some of us have not. What happened in our upbringing, in our education, in our interaction with our peers that caused the creativity to grow or to fade? Was it a teacher… was it a parent… was it a friend?
We’re very interested in your thoughts and your personal experiences that might shed some light on this topic. Were you encouraged to be creative? Were you discouraged from being creative? Where did YOUR creativity go? Please comment below! THANKS.
